the label about this release:
This is the second installment in a selection of electronic re-rubs of some of the main Lovemonksters. Stripped down for some atmospheric dance-floor dub action by Swiss Techsoul lover Alex Attias, German production team Dublex Inc and Garcynoise, hailing from Barcelona (like the indie group).
The overall feel is deep. Alex Attias took the uplifting soul number by LMG and brought it to an emotional yet techy level with an extra punch, and added some groove. He is a genius, not to be forgotten.
Dublex Inc. has turned Gecko Turner's tribal roots cut into a relentless electronic piece of abstract funk, perfect for the bearded djs, among many others (bald, moustached....whatever).
Pepe Link's track was already a deep house cut and Garcynoise started to play with it till he found an inextricable hidden link to something familiar, and turned this one into a depth charge, blowing minds every time it is played (true).
