the label about this release:
One of Australia's funkiest exports steps out of the studio once again following a summer of touring the world with his mind-blowing live show, rocking crowds from The Big Chill House to Budapest and everywhere between. Normally known for his funk and beats releases, Dave McKinney aka Flow Dynamics lived in Brasil for a year back in '92 and amassed a hefty little collection of ultra rare brasilian wax. A full year in Brasil left him itching to play the drums back in Australia, and heavy involvement in the capoeira and batucada scene playing with traditional outfit Ogun Brasil. Now an obsessive record collector, producer and marine biologist, Dave returns to his Brasilian roots with this bossa workout that has had crowds smiling and dancing across the globe. Giving a little something back to the country that inspired Flow Dynamics to start making music, Bossa for Bebo has already been caned by the likes of Quantic, Beatfanatic, Dr Rubberfunk and Rainer Truby.Of course, we couldn't resist letting our roster of artists loose on the track, so as well as the blissful original, you'll find a funked up workout from beats wunderkind Lack Of Afro, a bossa'n'bass rinse out from Holland's Jazz Juice and a sublime break infused remix from Burnley's finest ? the man like Diesler. All in all, business as usual for Freestyle ? a little something for everyone!
