the label about this release:
On the second issue of Red Shield we present you with Nathan Vice, a puerto rican bred artist out of New York who has really made a name for himself across the blogospere. He first made his mark on the drum and bass scene releasing music under his Aquatek moniker, widely regarded among the islands finest in the genre. His move to new york made a noticeable difference in his output and Nathan Vice was born to create a loud mashed up, neon, urban sound reminiscent of wild nights out in excess, its constantly evolving and never gets boring. With this release though he gives us a more detroit inspired take on his sound, ""Twilight Hues"" being a more straight up techno track with and old school vibe, stabbing chords and swooping basslines with a modern aesthetic, while the flip side ""Splice it and Reel it"" remains detroit inspired in the chord progressions but quickly jumps into an aggressive cut up on a swinging ""new electro"" tip and sits in with Nathan's usual style. Just a small taste of what he has to offer.Nathan Vice - Twilight HuesTwilight HuesWritten and Produced by Nataniel Rodriguez VeraMastered by Juan Mauricio RojasSplice it and Reel itWritten and Produced by Nataniel Rodriguez VeraMastered by Robert Babicz
