This is what Peter Kruder himself said: "The initial idea for this compilation came after I played a series of concerts that were called "The Listening Sessions". Bringing people into great sounding venues with an amazing sound system and have them sit down and just listen to music for two hours. A rare feat these days as most people just don't take the time to sit down and listen to music without any distractions."
plus: free bonus track 'Zero DB & Peter Kruder - Te quiero (Peter Kruder Deep Mix)' available on G-Stone Recordings' web site |

I was introduced to the music of K&D back in 2002 or 2003 by a fellow employee and instantly became an addict for ALL of their music that has their name on it. I was honored to meet them both this year in Miami!! This album I CANNOT STOP LISTENING TO IT!!! Definitely something that should be a part of your collection!! PK doesn't let you down with these hot tracks!!! Get your corkscrew ready, sit back and become a part of the experience with thesetracks!!! TIGHT WORK!!

Peter Kruder, one of the most important persons about europe’s modern sounds knows how to score in many and different levels of music. His selection here is golden, from the post rock stratoshepre to earth’s world sounds from Afrika this collection is one of the beautiful compilations of the year. 80’s electropop balearic stars Talk Talk are going analogue from their late 80’s ‘’Spirit From Heaven’’. Tortoise walkin’ on their usual paths, expirimentalists Observatory’s are used like a bridge to the jazzy side of the river which represented here by vibrophonic magic of Milt Jacksons ‘’Enchanted Lady’’, the last was from 1969 and historical Impulse records and by Pierre Moerlen's Gong jazz-fusion psychedelic space rock baby ‘’Adrein’’ from 1981. In the next square we are reachin’ the folk metamorphosis of deep house maestro Charles Webster with ‘’Sweet Butterfly’’ and on the corner, one of the most exciting artists the decades now, Tom Waits is standing with his guitar next to a xylophone. Synths are back with Jan Hammer, well known years later with his ‘’Miami Vice’’ soundtrack, Mr Kruder including him in his selection when he was jazz:roking with guitarist Jeff Beck back in 1977. His selfmade Peace Orchestra project excisted here with the melacholic ‘’Consequences’’. His project with his musical brother Richard Dorfmeister appears with rarely moment called ‘’Sleazy Rider’’ more than 10 years old now. Next we meet Three Girls from another world space soul with their ‘’Stargard’’, near my Nova Planet and Nick Woodmansey’s sun system. Modern pianist Craig Armstrong has been chosen with his ‘’In My Own Words’’ and his minimalistic piano paints on his ‘’Piano Works’’ album from 2004. One of my fave male voice, the vibrated one of David Sylvian, is here with Japan’s ‘’Ghosts’’, but don’t feel afraid, you don’t need ghostbusters, magic xylophone can destroy them all. Classic cinema is coming in the next minutes, Martin Scorsese’s Taxi Driver received accomodation in Kruder’s private collection with Bernard Herrmann’s ‘’The Days Do Not End’’. But don’t move, another film is here for you with the same price ‘’Punch-Drunk Love’’ and romantic ‘’Here We Go’’ elegia by Jon Brion can take you away and lead you to the sounds we all came from and belong. The centre of the world visited here by french deep house electro tech jazzers with their ‘’Superflight’’ over Africa and the arrival of this flight is Mali. The Malian Rokia Traore is closing the compilation with her ‘’Mariama’’ from her ‘’Bowmboi’’ album. This collection reminds me the mixtapes that used to record in my room and the unlimited hours that spend with music like this just for collecting and mixing for my friends. Glad that they still got these tapes. But in reality this compilation is what Peter Kruder himself said: "The initial idea for this compilation came after I played a series of concerts that were called "The Listening Sessions". Bringing people into great sounding venues with an amazing sound system and have them sit down and just listen to music for two hours. A rare feat these days as most people just don't take the time to sit down and listen to music without any distractions." - Dj Nova Nova Planet Radio Show
