the label about this release:
Tape to tape is a new London based production/dj outfit set to issue their first release "THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT” EP through Headman's Relish label . Alongside this imminent release tape to tape have also recently completed two remixes of Headmans next single "Disco Freak' .Having formed over a mutual love of early House music, Kraftwerk, Neu and Moroder inspired electronica tape to tape assembled their collection of vintage synthesizers and set themselves the task of completing three tracks in one week as a homage to the music they love. The Devil Made Me Do It ep is the result of this frenetic burst of studio activity. The EP is drenched in retro synths and nostalgic bleeps, disco strings and emotive chords. An amalgamation of sounds with one foot firmly rooted in the past but another striding eagerly towards the future. tape to tape also co host a monthly party in London called "The Devil Made Me Do It". These nights feature an array of up and coming guests but also provide a platform for any new material to be road tested.
