DF Tropical (Tropical Mexico City) is a compilation of 11 new tracks by Mexico City's collective La Supercumbia Futuristica, the album includes songs like Siete Sietes by Amantes Del Futuro, Trivolution by G-Flux vs Afrodita that feature strong retro dub and cumbia influences as well as the track “Waffles” by Los Wendys introducing their characteristic Country Cumbia style and soft vocals. DF Tropical also includes remixes of the track "Pasonsito" (Little OD) by Dj Ron Rico from Afrodita’s first album and “Modelito” by G-Flux as well as Antifaz's retrocumbia track "Gozadera" and Sonido Desconocido's downtempo "Cumbia Del Juglar". |
